Wherever Corner Cafe – Fresh All-Day Breakfast & Lunch in McDonald, PA

My husband and I stopped for lunch on a Saturday - just happened to drive by and thought we’d try this place. We will definitely return. The food was great, everyone there was very friendly, it’s decorated nicely and is very clean. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I was so eager to eat my breakfast that I forgot to take a pic before I started! The staff are all friendly, greet you with a smile, and get the orders right! Our food was all fresh and tasty, and served hot. Our coffees were always full. We highly recommend that you try this new place!

Proud of the owners and what this place will represent to anyone who stops in. Fresh off the soft opening on July 3, 2025, early feedback suggests the burgers as the crowd favorite. Breakfast and lunch are served all day. I rarely do Google reviews so I encourage all diner fans to try this place out! Went to the soft opening for breakfast. The place has been completely renovated and refurbished. Plenty of parking spaces. Inside is roomy (can seat 50 easily - there is a back room that would be good for groups) and the decor is excellent - shades of classic diners but with modern touches. The menu is more extensive than I expected given that this is the soft open. The cooking was great - they actually know how to make fluffy scrambled eggs! Good coffee, too. Food sourcing is excellent. Very reasonable prices. The service was friendly and efficient - the overall vibe is very welcoming. These are nice folks. Tired of being treated like a dog when you go for breakfast? This is a place you want to know. Food, service, ambience - all first rate. UPDATE: I previously recommended Wherever Corner Cafe for breakfast. For a real bonus, try it for lunch. I did last Friday. The lunch menu is great but they also have weekly specials (while they last). I tried the special: grilled Reuben sandwich with chips, cottage cheese, and a pickle spear. Now, when I tell you the homemade-style corned beef Reuben was great, know that I have had some of the best in New York City, courtesy of a friend who is an NYC native and foodie. And the place is always super clean - never a trace of grime anywhere. It's definitely a keeper!

I had the classic french toast with fresh fruit very light and fluffy. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The Wherever Corner Café is a must-visit.

I love Wherever Corner Cafe! The food is always super fresh and delicious, and their home fries are the best — perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel right at home. You can tell they really care about their customers. If you’re looking for a good old fashioned diner experience, this is the place for you! We went for breakfast and the food is terrifically simple, just as a small diner should. Menu is small and uncomplicated and has all the diner staples you’d expect. The space is small but all remodeled and fresh. FYI they are cash only with an ATM onsite. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.
